Dearest Yvette,
Yvette's 50th Birthday - 12th July 2022
Just to say what a lovely evening mum and I enjoyed at your home yesterday evening.
Though you had not planned a birthday party as David took you to London for the day wining and dining at your favourite restaurant, it was nice of you to invite us over for a birthday drink, (mum's first outing after her knee operation) which turned out to be great fun with your good friend and neighbour Alison and young Lucy present, together with Lisette and Miles, David, Jacob and yourself.
Pity Molly was missing as she is at Sheffield University. Also Winston and family were not around to add to the fun due to commitment at the Wake Board Lake, young Sophie practicing for her big Wake Board competition next week representing GB in the global competition. We wish her every success.
We certainly had plenty of laughter with David's jokes as always.
Below are a few photographs I took at random.
Thanks again.
Love and kisses,
Mum & Dad

YVETTE'S 40TH BIRTHDAY BASH
Just a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your 40th Birthday celebration shared with all your special friends. It certainly was a swell party and though we had a short downfall of heavy rain, it did not stop all your good friends having fun.
Very special thanks to Andy & Vonie for kindly providing the extra large marquee and helping to set it up. Also Betty & I convey our special thanks to Alan & Jan Besant for all the loan of their lovely garden furniture, Alan, for helping with the new design and work with our rock front garden, and for your generous gift of drinks and a wonderful boquet of flowers. Also special thanks to my brother-in-law Alexander Fernandes for providing his good action photographs which added to the collection.
Live Entertainment. Thanks to Jeff, Steve, Bow, David, Molly & Lynn for providing some entertainment. Regret I failed to capture your performances on video.
Molly thanks for your great performance on guitar and singing. Sorry I missed taking a video and hope one of Yvette's friends have captured your playing. I was not in the room at the time, and was told your singing and playing was superb, keep it up.
Jacob too was going to play the drums but unfortunately space in the room prevented me setting up a drum set. (I hope to record a short clip of you both on Friday at Danes Hill School which I will add to Yvette's blog if permission granted). View this blog next week!
Yvette, we did not fail to see all the gifts you received from your friends for which I am sure you will thank them individually.
